Product Description
This 3/4-inch potable water hose breakaway coupler is used to prevent damage to the aircraft potable water service panel and other equipment. In the case that personnel drive away or tow the potable water service unit prior to disconnecting the hose, this coupler will separate the hose from the rest of the equipment. At a pull force of approximately 100 lbs., the tab of the internal shear ring will break and allow the nipple and housing of the coupling to separate.
This coupler is constructed of lightweight anodized aluminum.
