The RJ2Q cleaning service cart was based on the same hot-dip galvanised steel chassis as the RJ2 series lavatory and water service carts. Hot-dip galvanised steel has a variety of benefits, including corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, durability even in extreme weather conditions and uniform protection.
Equipped with the Honda EM3800SXA generator (3800 watts), this service cart is able to power a wide variety of appliances that run off 120/240 AC power, including electric heaters, vacuum cleaners, stereo systems, carpet shampooers, among other appliances. The Honda generator has the capacity to run for 20 hours at ½ load, provides a quiet operation with its special muffler and is equipped with a full frame protection.
A heavy-duty grounded extension cord reel with 9.14 meter-long (30 inches) cord, which carries the electrical wires, sits on the same fabricated aluminium enclosure as the Honda generator.
This cleaning service cart has two Weatherguard powder-coated steel, locking supply boxes with trays and bins, which can store the necessary airline-approved cleaning supplies, such as Jet Stream, Armour Plate, Cabin Master, JetAire and Ultrasoft. Some cleaning supplies are provided with the unit as well as the Dirt Devil hoover.
The low-profile RJ2Q cart is easily towable by a tow vehicle and manoeuvrable by hand. This mobile aircraft cleaning unit also features a heavy-duty running gear and a towbar locking brake.
