The MD80/DC9 towbar is fabricated to withstand the forces of pushback and towing operations when attached to the nose gear of a MD-80/88/90 or DC-9 aircraft.

• Main frame constructed of structural tubing
• 4″ (10.1 cm) cushioned swivel lunette towing eye
• Fully retractable hydraulic undercarriage for adjustable height
• Towbar is shear bolt designed to protect aircraft nose gear
• Skid plate behind towing eye keeps towing eye from striking ground
• Safety lock system to avoid separation from aircraft
• Pneumatic tires
• Epoxy powder coated per customer colour

Crating is recommended for protection of towbars during transit. We accept no liability for damage during transit of un-crated towbars).
