These fueling stands are designed to allow safe refuelling on a wide range of aircraft. These stands are built utilizing structural aluminium for durability in all climates while allowing for light overall weight for ground handling.
The model 5070 is designed to handle regional and narrow-body aircraft. When equipped with our single fuel lift (up to 450 gallons per minute [1,703 litres per minute]) you can quickly and efficiently handle these aircraft. If you have a specialized application a secondary fuel lift is available – doubling the delivery rate.
This fuel lift eliminates the dangerous job of climbing a stairway while handling a heavy and awkward 3” fueling hose. These stands only use top-quality, certified fuel handling components. Certifications and test procedures and approvals are included at delivery.
With platform heights of 50″ (1.27m) and 70″ (1.78m), the model 5070 stand features a dual-platform design – the fold-down upper platform can be deployed to increase the working height and can be easily stowed when not in use. The fuel pump is rated at 450 GPM (1,703 LPM) and includes a surge suppressor, nozzle pressure gauge, 10-foot (3.05m) EI 1529 rated hose and Cla-Val nozzle. This platform is suitable for servicing aircraft such as the Airbus A318, A319, A320, A321, ATR 42 & 72, and BAE ATP/146/RJ190.
The aluminium construction results in a lightweight stand that is corrosion resistant – unlike steel stands, which are heavy and rust easily. These units can be disassembled to ship inside of normal sea containers and easily reassembled upon delivery, making shipping much simpler than other fueling stands.
