The modern design of the electric tow tractor emphasizes its many advantages. Large windows on all four sides guarantee excellent vision out of the cabin and the sliding windows on the two sliding doors offer great air circulation. Driver comfort is enhanced by a spring mounted seat and (optional) diesel heating with ventilation of the cabin. To further complement the optimal energy use and lower lifetime costs of the electrical drive, the tractor has three independent braking systems: regenerative braking on the drive motor, hydraulic braking on all four wheels and a mechanical parking brake on the electric motor. The battery that energizes the tractor can be easily and quickly replaced when running low. Cargo bed in the back of the vehicle is convenient for transport of tools or a few extra pieces of luggage. An automatic system for hitching the load, whether a train of cargo dollies or a towable GSE, is at the rear of the vehicle; front hitching is optional. To simplify hitching, the tractor is equipped with an inching switch for forward and backward moves. With a towing capacity of up to 8.600 kg and a mere 8,5 m wide turning circle, this little one is a performance giant.
Modular concept of the vehicle with a wide variety of options enables the product to be configured according to the customer’s requirements. The list of options to choose from includes the afore mentioned front coupling, cabin heating and diesel range extender. The customer can configure the machine down to the colour according to the RAL chart and decide on its logos size and position.
The tow tractor is a high-quality product by design as well as manufacturing, has the CE mark and complies to all the relevant EN standards and optionally IATA recommendations.
