Aviation Spares & Repairs Limited has been awarded Contract 711854460 to design, manufacture, and install replacement buffering solutions for the Wrap Around Maintenance Staging (WAMS) system used with the F-35 Lightning aircraft at RAF Marham.
The project involves delivering nine sets of upgraded buffers in 2025, designed to improve durability, ensure compliance with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) policies, and integrate seamlessly with the existing WAMS structure. The solution will enhance safety during maintenance operations while protecting the aircraft from potential damage.
