The eJP-3 & eJP-3L are towbarless aircraft tugs with a towing capacity of up to 13,608 kg (30,000 lbs), providing enough power to tow piston aircraft and light corporate jets. The main advantages are their simple design along with their high responsiveness and control when manoeuvring. With over 10 years of serving aviation, the eJP-3 & eJP-3L are a proven and reliable workhorse.
These environmentally-friendly units have smooth deceleration using regenerative braking and an autonomous mechanical back-up brake with a hill hold button. They also feature contra-rotating wheels, which provide one of the tightest turning circles available on a towbarless aircraft tractor. These units also have a built-in 12-24-28/30V power supply to assist starting aircraft engines.
These Eagle JetPorter tugs have 6 HP engines that use a continuous stream of 48V through a duty V-Drive motor with a digital logic controller. These models are also low maintenance, using rubber tyres and durable powder coating.
Both models come as standard with a Nylon strut strap, winch strap and wheel tie down strap. These tugs also come with front-facing headlights as well as rear facing lights and a strobe light. A selection of additional features available including a slide in pintle hitch and tyre chains. A two-year Tronair Platinum warranty is provided for both eJP-3 and eJP-3L tugs.
