COVID Clean was originally developed for the aerospace sector and is approved for use by aircraft manufacturers and major airlines.
This product has been tested by a certified UK virology lab, that is fully approved under the terms of the European Biocidal Products Regulation, to show that it kills the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus in accordance with BS EN 14476:2013 + A2:2019.
Furthermore, the residual activity of COVID Clean has been tested by the same lab, in accordance with BS EN 16777:2018, to show that if the product is left after application, not rinsed off and left to dry, it will still kill COVID-19, showing a 1.5 log reduction after only 5 minutes. This means that if COVID-19 lands on a treated surface, 97% of the deposited virus will be killed within 5 minutes. COVID Clean leaves a residue that is 30 times more effective than using a disinfectant with no residual activity, for example disinfectants such as bleach and alcohol leave no residual activity.
COVID Clean can safely be used in a range of home and work environments, including hospitals.
